Financial Aid

Please note: Financial aid is processed on a first-come, first served basis.

Anyone interested in determining if he or she qualifies for financial aid to attend Maysville Community and Technical College is urged to contact the MCTC Office of Student Development. Area high school counselors may also provide the application forms necessary to apply for financial aid.

Financial aid awards are based on the number of credit hours for which a student is enrolled each semester.  Full-time equals 12 credit hours or more, 3/4-time is 9-11 credit hours, ½-time is 6-8 credit hours, and less than ½-time is 1-5 credit hours.  Financial aid is awarded initially on an academic year basis (Fall and Spring semesters).  Spring only awards will be made if funds are available.

Fees are due at time of registration.  To avoid cancellation of registration, students who apply for aid late will not be able to count on financial aid to assist them with fee payment.  A student payment plan is available; arrangements must be made in the Business Office at time of registration.
